1. Who we are

These terms govern your use of scarletlantern.com ("Scarlet Lantern", "we", "us"), operated by the operator of scarletlantern.com. Using the site means you accept them.

2. Eligibility

Scarlet Lantern is intended only for users aged 19 or over. By using it you confirm you are 19 or over.

3. Virtual coins

• All coins are provided free of charge.
• They have no monetary value and do not constitute money, credit or property.
• No sale, purchase, withdrawal, transfer or exchange of coins is possible, whether for money, goods, services or prizes; the site contains no purchases of any kind.
• No prize with real-world value is offered.
• Coins, levels and features are subject to adjustment or reset at any time.

4. No real-money gambling

Scarlet Lantern does not offer or promote real-money gambling, and does not link to gambling operators.

5. Your account

• You need a free account to play. One account per person; do not share it.
• Keep your password to yourself. Tell us at once if someone else has used your account.
• If you sign in with Google, keeping that Google account secure is your responsibility, and you confirm the 19+ requirement here in the same way.
• You can remove the account at any moment via your account page. Removal is immediate and cannot be reversed.
• We may suspend an account that is used to disrupt the site or that we believe belongs to someone under 19.
• Coins, levels and missions are account features, not possessions, and are subject to reset.

6. Acceptable use

Disrupting the service, using automated tools against it, offering coins for trade and allowing underage use of an account are all forbidden.

7. Availability and liability

The site comes as it is. Any part of it may be changed or withdrawn. If something malfunctions, the affected plays and payouts do not stand. Nothing above operates to limit liability where the law prohibits it, and statutory rights are unaffected throughout.

8. Law

These terms are subject to the law of Ontario and to the federal laws of Canada applicable in that province.
